Pain Management: 4 Easy Ways

Chronic pain can't be gone completely, but it can be managed. Here are some easy ways to reduce chronic pain.

📎 Do Exercises

Exercises are not only good for your muscles but they also help to release endorphins, which ease pain and boost your mood. Just 15-30 minutes of aerobics will do the trick.⠀

📎 Connect Mind and Body

Studies show that deep breathing and meditation may help you manage chronic pain. For example, Tai chi with deep diaphragmatic breathing may help ease symptoms from fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and low back pain.⠀

📎 No Alcohol Late at Night

Many studies have shown that sleep disorders may trigger chronic pain, and an alcoholic drink before bedtime can influence your ability to sleep well at night. Alcohol may help you fall asleep faster, but it reduces deep restorative REM sleep.⠀

📎 Skip cigarettes

Smoking may bring short-term relief of stress and pain, but tobacco use is associated with many detrimental health effects that may increase pain in the long run.⠀

I hope this information was useful to you!⠀
